Dijkstra – What a Humble Man

I was reading today Dijkstra‘s “Notes on Structured Programming”, and was very impressed to see the following written there:

As a slow-witted human being I have a very small head and I had better learn to live with it and to respect my limitations and give them full credit, rather than try to ignore them, for the latter vain effort will be punished by failure.

One of the greatest men in computer science, who received the Turing Award in 1972. What a great and mind.
