Someone I know was very sick for the last couple of months. Not someone close but someone very similar to me. Relatively same age, same background (at least as far as I know), with family and kids. One day she got sick, and after fighting death for some months, she lost.
Events like this change your day. And if you are smart, your life. It doesn’t mean I am now leaving my job and going to travel the world with my family. No, this is just superficial. The change must be deeper. Loving those who are close, enjoying every day, knowing that I am a very fortunate person, that I have a great job (even when I sometimes hate it), a house where I live, a family that I love and loves me (well… at least I think they love me :-)).
